Back to Rainier
Truth be told, late November might not be the best time to visit the Mt Rainier area. At least, not unless you’re equipped with chains for your tires. But the Visit Rainier Centennial GeoTour beckoned us yet again.
This time, we spent two days of the holiday weekend driving all over the area. As before, beautiful views of the mountain. We couldn’t go as far into the national park as I would have liked, due to our lack of tire chains. But we had a great time further exploring the towns around the park.
We’ll probably wait until late summer of next year for another dedicated geocaching trip to Rainier. By then, the final two series of GeoTour caches will have been released and we can go about pursuing the coveted geocoin!
